VACTE Educator Circle: Register for November 13

Dear Colleagues,

VACTE Educator Circles are a great way to connect with practitioners across settings as we consider current trends, challenges, and solutions. We are excited to announce our next Educator Circle topic: Practice Before the Classroom: Using Simulations and AI to Prepare Future Educators.

Join us on November 13 at 12:00pm EST. We will discuss how Virginia universities are using simulations and AI bots to prepare future educators.

Discussion questions:

  • What barriers might prevent Virginia EPPs from implementing AI-supported simulations?
  • If you could give every teacher candidate one opportunity to practice a challenging teaching situation in a safe simulated environment before entering the classroom, what would you have them practice and why?

VACTE Educator Circles are open to any member of your institution who wishes to participate. You are welcome to share the meeting link with colleagues who may be interested in attending.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Sincerely,

Nancy Bradley, VACTE Executive Director

Laurie Rice, VACTE President-Elect
